He enjoyed the first movie and expected so much more from the second. From the "thumbs-down" aspect, Henderson describes the dismay of the hero, Gru. Gru was a villain in "Despicable Me" who decided to leave his criminal days behind him to become a father figure to the three lovely children he had adopted. In the second film, Gru is nothing like how he was before, but instead he is pleasantly gentle and reasonable. However, Henderson also shows claim of facts in his review of the film, by stating the amount made from the 2010 movie, "Despicable Me," which was $251 million dollars.
