  1. Graciela’s brother should have definitely been more responsible knowing that the car was his car. Why does his car have faulty locks in the first place and when she fell asleep, no person bothered to look for her or see where she is so they could get her out? If her family saw her in the car, they should have known better than to leave her there. Wonderful job on the article Nicole.

  2. To hear of someone dying at such a young age is very sad. She had her whole life ahead of her and it was taken away for such a bad reason. It is odd that none of her family noticed the disappears until it was way too late. It will be interesting to hear what happens after further investigations. Nicole, the article you chose is very interesting. Great job.

  3. This is a deeply saddening story. Graciela Martinez’s tragic story should cause people to live a more circumspect lifestyle. Disasters like this occur frequently in daily life to many other innocent civilians. Mary is correct, in the comment above, when stating that Graciela’s brother should have been much more observant with his faulty car’s lock system. Excellent work on this blog post, Nicole!

  5. It is sad to see teens dieing from drugs and alcohol related deaths, but accidents like this really raises the question- How succeptible are we to the grasps of death? Can someone be so unfortunate to die of heat stroke because of faulty car locks? Apparently so... Very "stupid" deaths like this really are just aggravating. It is not fair to people to live such a short life when they could have made a difference on earth.

  6. Hearing a young teenager's death can mess with anyone's emotions, especially a parents. Thinking that this teenage girl still had so many years to do something in her life such as reaching her goals is sad. Some people just do not get to accomplish things that they have wished to when they were younger. Just always remember to live life to the fullest because you do not know what might happen during the day.

  7. It is saddening to see such young and youthful lives taken away all too early. Whenever a teenager is reported dead, most of the time it is due to irresponsibility on another person's part. This should open our eyes to teach younger generations how to take on responsibility relatively early in their lives. Very informative topic.

  8. It is upsetting to hear about deaths like this one. Accidents that cause severe harm to an innocent become extremely emotional for the audience. When the victim is as young as Graciela, it awakens a sense of empathy to readers. Someone as young as Graciela, just merely began her journey through life. She had yet to accomplish so many things. Nicole did an amazing job with the post, it was informative but brief!
