Favorite Book

The Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie has to be one of my favorite books. It is suspenseful and incredibly well written. Agatha Christie being an extraordinary writer herself creates an arcane and mystical setting where the novel took place in. The setting took place on a train headed to Stamboul during winter. I enjoyed reading this novel because it was extremely interesting and erratic. From the beginning, The Murder on the Orient Express captures one's attention and keeps them guessing. The novel begins when the main character Hercule Poirot was assigned to investigate a murder case. Passengers on the train were informed that a man named Rattchet, also known as Cassetti had been killed. Cassetti was a criminal himself, who had kidnapped Daisy Armstrong. Because the murder took place on a train all passengers on the Orient Express were questioned about what happened the night of the murder. In the end, detective Hercule Poirot concluded that the murderer of this case was all the passengers. They planned this murder against Cassetti, because each of them had a connection with Daisy Armstrong and wanted revenge.
One who enjoys reading mysterious and thrilling novels would definitely want to read The Murder on the Orient Express. Agatha Christie wrote the novel in a way that will keep the audience wanting more. Once one begins reading they will not be able to put the novel down. It will always leave one wanting more. Readers will be full of suspense and astonished by the ending.
